If you are in Worldcat search for the book that you are looking for. When you find it click on the Title of the book. Under the section "Check Availability" you will see a button that says "Recall" if the book is checked out. Click the "Recall" button, then a box will pop up that says "Request a Recall." You may need to disable any pop up blocking software. Fill out this form and then click submit. Holds may also be placed by calling the front desk at 919-761-2251 or ask the librarian assistant at the front desk to place a hold for you.
If the book is not checked out you cannot place a hold on the item.
